We love your style, but do not live in the area. Are you available for travel?
Yes, Kara is available for limited travel during certain times of the year. Please contact the studio for more information and for a custom travel quote.
How many pictures can we expect to see from our shoot?
Client can always expect to see a final collection of 30 to 40 images.
What should we schedule our newest addition for a session?
Congrats! I always request that newborn sessions be scheduled within the first ten days of arrival.
Do you offer the negatives?
Absolutely. Along with your session fee you will receive a DVD of your images to share online and download to your computer, mobile devices, etc for easy sharing. While these files are not suitable for printing, you do have the opportunity to purchase high res negatives if you would like.
When will see our pictures?
You can expect to see your collection of images within two weeks from your shoot. An at-home design session will be scheduled to allow you to choose pictures, ask questions and pick out the best products that you would like to add to your home.
What do we wear?
A truly well styled shoot makes for the best collection of images. Upon booking your session, a phone consultation will be scheduled so wardrobe, colors, style and location can be discussed and planned prior to your shoot.
What can we expect to invest for our lifestyle photography?
Sessions with Kara begin at $250. Following your session you have the option of choosing from the pre-designed collections beginning at $550 or from the a la carte menu. Typically, KL clients invest between $600 and $900 in custom products following their session.
How long does a session take?
Generally, photo sessions last for about 45 to 60 minutes. However, there is no time limit which allows Kara to photograph until she feels there is an adequate amount of beautiful images.
How far in advance do we need to book?
During the busier months, Kara books approximately three months in advance. It's best to book sooner rather than later if you have a specific date in mind.
